How we compared

We read PimEyes' own pricing, FAQ, terms, privacy and opt-out pages on October 22, 2026. We did not run test searches, because PimEyes asks you to confirm that the photo shows your own face, so we make no accuracy claim.

Questions

Is VisageDB free?

Searching is free and needs no account, and general results include source links. Unlocking a search's 18+ results costs 1 credit, and new accounts get 1 free credit.

Does PimEyes search social media?

No. PimEyes says it leaves out social media and video platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. VisageDB does not index those either, but it includes public content from Bluesky, GitHub, Tumblr and Twitch.

Can I remove my face from both?

Yes, for free, from each service's own results. Neither can delete the original images from the websites that published them.
