What is a face similarity checker?
A face similarity checker uses AI to analyze the largest clear face in two photos and compare their visible facial features. It displays the result on a 0 to 100 scale. A higher score means stronger visual similarity, but it does not prove identity or a family relationship.
Face comparison FAQ
What is a face similarity score?
It summarizes how closely AI finds the visible facial features in two photos align. VisageDB displays it on a 0 to 100 scale. It is not the probability that two photos show the same person.
Are my face photos stored?
They are processed temporarily, discarded after the comparison, and never added to the VisageDB face index.
What photos give the best face comparison?
Use clear, front-facing photos with one unobstructed face. Similar lighting and angles help. Age, blur, shadows, expressions, and side profiles can change the score.
