VisageDB

Privacy Policy

Last updated

VisageDB is designed to search images from the public web while keeping your own search photo temporary. This policy explains the limited data we use.

What the index contains

We index faces and limited source details from publicly accessible webpages, including links to the original pages and images. We do not access private accounts or create named identity profiles. A match reflects visual similarity, not confirmed identity.

Search photos

When you search, your browser uploads the selected face. We keep your search data, including the photo and request IP address, for up to 24 hours, then automatically delete it. We do not sell search photos or use them to train our models.

Accounts and cookies

If you create an account, we store your email address and the information needed to provide and secure your account. Google sign-in gives us your verified email address. We use essential cookies to keep signed-in sessions secure.

Analytics and service providers

Google Analytics helps us understand how people use VisageDB. We also rely on trusted providers to host and operate the service. They may process limited information as needed to provide those services, under their own privacy policies.

Your choices

Do not upload a photo if you do not want it processed. You can report an indexed result from its result card. When you follow a result link, the destination website's privacy policy applies.
